UPDATE [33 days old - Thursday May 3]: The puppies began weaning on Sunday, April 29, which is when they also began having play time naps on the deck adjoining their weaning-whelping boxes.  They are now running, clumsily, and chomping on one another with ever bigger, sharper teeth.  They are enjoying their various toys (so is their mom, who steals some of them).   Their teeth are why their mama, Irish, is less eager to lay down and let them nurse so they’ve been catching snacks when she’s standing up.
